FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Can I make changes to my order after I’ve submitted it?
A. If you would like to make a change to your order, please contact us immediately or just wait for your proof.  If your ordered prints and your order is already in production, you will be charged in proportion to the work completed. If the order is completed you will be charged full cost, less blank envelopes and non-personalized items.

Q. What are your shipping options and how much do they cost?
A. We use USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail Only. This make its fast and simple for all of us.

Q. I ordered prints, how will I know when my order has shipped?
A. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email once your order is on its way to you! If you don’t get this email just contact us and we will re send it to you.

Q. Where’s my order?
A. You will receive an order confirmation email to verify your order has been submitted. You will then receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped.

Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. Sorry no we do not at this time. Shipping rates are just to expensive.

Q. Can I add more lines of copy?
A. In some cases yes, it all depends on the invitation! Just make a note in the Personalization field when you begin personalizing your order.

Q. Can I change the font size?
A. In some cases yes, it all depends on the invitation! Just make a note in the Personalization field when you begin personalizing your order.

Q. Can I change the layout of an invitation?
A. In some cases yes, the orientation can often be changed from horizontal to vertical or vertical to horizontal. Contact us to verify whether the design you want can be changed. The cost to change the orientation is a flat fee of $10.

Q. Can I have a custom invitation created?
A. Yes, we are happy to provide estimates for all custom orders. Send your request to bill@wolcottdesigns.com with the following subject line: Custom Design Request_ Your First and Last Name.

Q. What photo formats do you recommend?
A. You may currently upload photos in the following formats: JPG, JPEG, GIF and PNG.

Q. How can I increase the DPI on my photos?
A. To increase the dpi on your photo, it will need to be rescanned or re-saved to your computer making sure that your properties setting is at least 300 dpi on the resolution and the dimensions are at least 1500 x 2100 pixels to create the best image.

Q. Is there a size limit on photos?
A. Yes, the size limit is 20MB per photo.

Q. Will you edit my photos?
A. If you have questions on how to enhance the quality of your photo or increase the dpi, please contact us. Also, please make sure the preview is acceptable to you as this is how your order will be printed.

The proofing process includes three or more rounds of digital proofs; the first round is based off of the wording and colors submitted in your order and the remaining two rounds are for revisions.

Wording changes, colors changes, and minor layout adjustments can be made during the revision rounds. You will work 1-1 with us via email.

Q. Will I receive hard copy proofs?
A. No. Your order includes electronic proofs that will be emailed for your review. Hard copy proofs are not available. Electronic proofing is standard among stationers and is a cost effective and flexible way to review and make changes to your stationery before printing begins.

Q. Are design colors customizable?
A. Yes, in most cases the colors on our invitations can be customized.

Q. Will the color of my prints match my screen?
A. Because all monitors display color differently, your printed stationery may not match what you see on your screen. We are unable to accept returns based on color for this reason.
